About Dr. Jay Heney
Dr. Jay Heney is the co-founder of Hanover Chiropractic Health Care, serving the residents of Hanover and the surrounding communities since 1985.
Post graduate studies include treatment for headaches, advancements in the treatment of low back pain, extremity injuries, emergency medical techniques, and rehabilitative exercise programs.
Dr. Heney enjoys treating many conditions, including disc herniations, motor vehicle injuries, acute and chronic low back pain, and headaches. He also enjoys the challenge of conditions that haven't responded to conventional medical treatment (drugs, bed rest, surgery) or failed back surgeries.
About Dr. Therese Jacobs
Dr. Therese Jacobs graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1984 and opened Hanover Chiropractic Health Care with her husband in 1985.
After taking time off from the practice to raise three boys, she returned to the office in 1999.
Dr. Therese's post graduate studies include pediatrics, women's health issues and cutting edge nutritional concepts.
She enjoys assisting others to learn that health is a way of life that takes planning, commitment and follow through. Nutrition is addressed and how it relates to the patients individual health care concerns. Her focus is restoring health through both chiropractic and nutrition.About Dr. Stephen Heney
Dr. Stephen Heney graduated cum laude from Tufts University, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1992. In addition, he holds Diplomat Status from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. Dr. Heney has practiced in Hanover since 1992, with special interests in acute injuries and holistic/wellness care.
Dr. Heney enjoys pediatric cases such as ear infections, attention deficit disorders (ADD) and general wellness. Many parents are seeing the benefits of drug-free chiropractic care for their children.
Dr. Heney has studied extensively the applications of chiropractic care and diagnosis as it relates to the nervous system. While most people can easily see the relationships between neck and back problems with arm and leg pain respectively, there is wide assortment of conditions that respond very well to chiropractic care. Some of these include, but are not limited to premenstrual syndrome (PMS), gastrointestinal discomfort, irritable bowel syndromes, migraine headaches and many more. Chiropractic is a highly efficient way to impact and influence the function, or dysfunction of the human nervous system.
